Craft Business Growth- Notes from the call

Melanie from theceofactor.com  gave a great webinar on the steps of your craft business growth.  Here are my notes:

Strength overused becomes your greatest weakness.

Craft Business growth:

1)  Idea, but nothing going yet.

2)  Startup– 4 elements in place.  website, marketing, content, and product

3)  Grow– you know what will work and what doesn't.  Rapid excelleration.

4)  Maintaining.

  • growth foundation
  • sustainable goals- what is the end? scalable business model= consistant, predictable.  something that grows larger than you, it can be replicated.
  • Infastructure.  This is what elimanates breakdown.  Golden key to doing what you want.  It's your team, right technology, systems in place….
  • Feedback mechanism.  How you monitor and measure what makes money, what wastes, what do they love? hate?
  • Stron cash infusion strategy.  how do you manage cash coming in?  Is there financing opportunities, investors?

This was a great call and wonderful to see where I 'fit in' in the whole scheme of things. I can use this to break down some goals and decide where those fit and when I actually need to start or finish something.

Have any thoughts?
